豪尔赫·普雷西亚多 came to 西雅图 Pacific University after spending 13 years as an elementary school teacher in Chula Vista, 加州, and eight years in Eugene, 俄勒冈州, as a student and research associate at the 俄勒冈大学 and Dynamic Measurement Group. Dr. 普雷西亚多 received his PhD in special education from the 俄勒冈大学.
Dr. 普雷西亚多’s teaching and research focuses on improving literacy outcomes for Latino students and/or students struggling in literacy. Dr. 普雷西亚多 is interested in helping schools use a proactive approach such as Response to Intervention and/or Schoolwide Positive Behaviors 支持s to decrease the number of students referred into special education.
